On various dates FASS has sole hire of Wheels for All at Portsmouth's Alexandra Park.
Wheels for All is situated next to the tennis courts and opposite the play park in Alexandra Park. Free parking is available in nearby Alex Way (approx. 2 minute walk). Run by Portsmouth in the Community, Wheels for All has a range of bicyles to fit all; including adapted bikes so that almost everyone can try cycling.
Three-wheeled bikes for extra stability
Two-seater bikes to ride with a friend, or a passenger
Bikes with supportive seats, rather than saddles
Whether your child is a pro at cycling or they just want to have fun and try out different bikes, this activity is suitable to all, even wheelchair users!
For 2 hours, pick a bike and cycle until your hearts content around the park. Had enough of that bike? No worries, just swap it for another.
*Please bare in mind children are required to wear a helmet which are provided, if your child wishes to bring their own they are welcome to do so. This is an open public park, if your child is a runner you may need to accompany them around as they cycle.
